At Green Mountain we are committed to giving back to the communities where our Norwegian data centers are located. This year, we are proud to support several clubs and associations through our fund; Green Mountain Community Support Fund.
After keeping our application portal open for about a month, we received nearly 200 applications. We had specific criteria for selection, and almost every applications met these requirements.
A thoughtful selection process
Choosing who to support was no easy task. To ensure a fair and thoughtful decision, we established an internal committee with two representatives from each of our data center locations. Their insights and local knowledge were invaluable in selecting this year’s recipients. Our committee consisted of:
- Are Koppang
- Alv Skjellet
- Mette Lunde
- Morten Haulan
- Stig Erlend Eidså
- Jim-Aage Johansen
- Morten Jacobsen
- Kristin Ek
This year, we prioritized supporting smaller clubs and associations – many of which are dedicated to keeping costs low for their members. By doing so, they ensure that all children, regardsless of their financial situation, can particiapte in trips, tournaments, and other activities.

Proud to make a difference
We are truly honored to contribute to these fantastic organisations. Their efforts create inclusive, engaging environments where children and youth can thrive. Supporting them is not just a donation – it’s an investment in the future of our communities.
