A short drive from Hamar city, in the Innlandet region, you will find our newest state-of-the-art data center site, OSL-Hamar. The potential campus footprint of up to 1.5 million ft2 can house five buildings, each with a capacity of 30 MW. As of now, construction is underway for the initial three buildings. All three will be ready by summer 2024.
Moreover, we are pleased to announce that TikTok, our customer, has secured a contract for these three buildings, effectively utilizing the entire 90 MW capacity. Furthermore, they retain the option to expand their capacity to 150 MW. This means that our current planned capacity at site is fully committed.
The site will be built and operated according to Green Mountain's high sustainability standards. This includes everything from the use of renewable power, world-leading energy efficiency, and preparation for heat reuse.
We are currently engaged with industry and research institutions to identify potential projects and initiatives that can benefit from the residual heat produced by the data centers.
