Recipients of Green Mountain Community Support Fund 2026

At Green Mountain, we remain deeply committed to giving back to the communities where our Norwegian data centers are located. Now in its third year, the Green Mountain Community Support Fund continues to grow as an important initiative. It supports local clubs and associations that make a real difference for children and young people.

This year, we received an overwhelming response once again. After keeping the application portal open for approximately one month, we received 300 applications from across our local communities in Rogaland, Hamar, Enebakk, and Rjukan. The level of engagement highlights both the need for support and the incredible amount of voluntary work being carried out.

A locally anchored selection process

Selecting this year’s recipients was, as always, a challenging task. To ensure a fair and well-informed process, we established an internal committee with representatives from each of our data center locations. Their local knowledge and insights played a key role in identifying the initiatives where the support would have the greatest impact.

For 2026, we have continued our focus on smaller, grassroots organizations. Many of these clubs actively work to keep participation costs low, enabling all children and young people, regardless of financial background, to take part in sports, cultural activities, and social activities.

Investing in stronger local communities

We are proud to support a wide range of initiatives that create safe, inclusive, and engaging environments for children and youth. These organizations play a vital role in building community, promoting health and well-being, and creating opportunities for personal development.

For us, this is about more than financial support. It is about contributing to stronger, more inclusive local communities and investing in the next generation.
