Located in Time municipality, just 40 km from Stavanger, SVG-Undheim is Green Mountain's newest hyper-scale data center campus. The site is being developed to accommodate a large international customer and will feature two interconnected data center buildings with a total IT capacity of 80 MW. Designed for next generation digital infrastructure, the campus supports both air and liquid cooling technologies, making it well suited for high density and AI driven workloads.
Construction is currently underway, with completion scheduled for 2028. Once operational, the site is expected to employ approximately 100 people and will represent a significant investment in digital infrastructure and local value creation in the Stavanger region.

Creating local value at SVG-Undheim
The development of SVG-Undheim is about more than building digital infrastructure. It is also about creating opportunities for local businesses, generating employment, and contributing to long-term value creation in the Stavanger region.
From the outset, Green Mountain has been committed to involving local and regional suppliers wherever possible. By working closely with contractors and partners in the region, the project aims to ensure that the economic benefits of the development extend well beyond the construction site itself.
Several local companies are already contributing to the project through contracts awarded by Backe and its partners. As construction progresses, additional opportunities will become available for businesses across a wide range of industries. These include civil works, transportation and logistics services, equipment supply, and a variety of support functions required throughout the build phase.
The construction phase will also create significant demand for services that support day to day operations on site. This includes everything from transport and accommodation to catering, maintenance, and specialist technical services.
The positive impact extends beyond the direct workforce. As the campus moves closer to completion and eventually enters operation, additional indirect jobs will be created through security services, facility management, maintenance, catering, and other essential support functions.
