Green Mountain’s business is growing and is now further developing DC2-Telemark to meet the continuous increase in demand for data centre services. Second phase of the site development will start in September, which will lead to a doubling of square meters of DC2 – Telemark. The new building’s completion date is set for the first quarter 2017; built according to  Tier III designs.

First phase of DC2- Telemark was completed in May 2014 and has now been operating for two years. The operations of the site has been flawless, and has attracted customers seeking high quality data centre services ever since. This has led to the implementation of building phase 2 – Says Site manager Ole Sten Volland.

– We have demanding customers who expect high quality services. DNB, Norway’s largest bank is one of our main customers, as well as DNV-GL, one of the world’s leading classification companies,  announced this summer their decision to take space at Green Mountain.  We cannot discuss our other clients, due to customer confidentiality, however, they all chose Green Mountain because of our documented and certified quality and operational excellence – Volland continues.

–  This expansion is very important to us. To double in size after only two years of operations is a testimony to the team at Rjukan. It proves that the customers are  happy and that we are doing our job right. – says Volland.

– We are very excited about the development of our data centre, both DC1 –Stavanger and DC2-Telemark. Our customers demand data centre services of high quality, exceptional safety and green solutions. At Green Mountain our customers gets all this in one package. New customers from a number of industries, continue to push us in our strive to develop high quality services for a growing industry.  This is what has lead us to the expansion of DC2-Telemark at Rjukan. We are very happy for our colleagues at DC2 that are doing such a fantastic job to ensure that our customers are happy. – Says CEO, Knut Molaug.
