Since opening two years ago, Green Mountain has been operating and adhering to recognised ISO standards for quality and environmental management. Green Mountain has subsequently achieved certificates recognising that the organisation work according to these international standards.
When we, Green Mountain, signed our first clients, our datacentres were not built; we did not have a fully operational organisation established. Therefore, we agreed with our clients to obtain the necessary certifications within a reasonable timeframe.
Achieving Uptime Institute Tier III certification as the only Nordic colocation provider in April was a significant achievement for us. Now the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications are in place, this again defines the positive development of our organisation and operations, says Knut Molaug, CEO of Green Mountain.
The ISO 9001 certification demonstrates our commitment to consistency, continual improvement and customer satisfaction. The standard provides specific requirements for a quality management system that enhances our ability to consistently deliver products and services that meets customers’ – as well as statutory and regulatory requirements.
Green Mountain is striving to set the green standard within the datacentre space. The ISO 14001 certification demonstrates that we will continue delivering environmental performance and improvement in line with our mission statement – “Setting The Green Standard”.
– I am proud to receive these certifications on behalf of our organisation, says Thomas Løken, Security and Compliance Manager at Green Mountain. Both the Tier III and the ISO certificates are highly recognized in the IT community as a proof of a well-operated company. Furthermore, these certifications guarantees our customers that Green Mountain is in the driver seat when it comes to delivering green and secure datacentre operations – he continues.
